Introduction
This section is meant to introduce you to the core of this long-form Article.
This article is intended to answer the question of, who the initial subsidiaries are, which are featured under the banner, and why them. Along with what's holding us up with finalizing their sections.
Who are Our Initial Subsidiaries?
Our current batch of Subsidiaries are as follows:
- Cecil Libraries Organization
- Act 2; The Reimagining
- Stoat Games
Each of the following sections will cover what each of these groups are respectively in more detail than is probably available to you right now!
Cecil Libraries Organization
This section covers Cecil Libraries Organization as a whole.
This is one of our Partners when it comes to software development. They provide the libraries by which we use for our Softwares, for example Cecil.ANSI_Utils, which has been used for the Ghost In The Code Logo Maker and ANSI-Mod.
Outside of libraries, they are also planning on making API's for Games and Websites. Perhaps our own some day?
Though that does not quite answer WHO they are so let's get that out of the way shall we?
Cecil Libraries Organization is a Organization in software stemming from around December of 2025, it was an idea around the spark for the Orpheon Challenge Run Mod. Where the founder wanted to make a set of ~20 reusable libraries covering several areas in which they keep needing to remake for every project. Cecil.ANSI_Utils was the first of these, thus far it has released 4 versions, and is our priority project to get into our site. But the plans look something more like this:

Since this is originally a paper pencil, lets remake this graph into the digital landscape for readability. It should also be alot easier to follow as well, due to fixed sized arrows!

If not apparent this is just an idea list, we plan to make majority of it yes, but not all of it may be needed in the future, and some aspects of it may change. For example we may do away with the Unity Utilities until we have a reason for them, same with the CSVHelper Utilities.
Why are things slow?
This section is still technically apart of the prior, but it also answers why things have been going so slow as of recent.
The reality of having to make these has definitely changed the feasibility metrics around a bit, but for the most part we should be able to do all of this given enough time.
Also apologies for saying we without specifying who We is. We in this case refers to Cecil Libraries Organization and Chaosyr (plus their individual head mates) who have been the ones behind the project.
You may be wondering why documentation has been frozen, and why 3.0.0 development is on hiatus, well that's namely because of the nature of Chaosyr.
They own and founded This Site, Stoat Games, Cecil Libraries Organization, and Co-Founded Act 2; The Reimagining. With more organizations to come such as KamWerksCardIndex, Hexamal Software, The Inscryption PVP/TCG Community, and more.
Eventually all of their current and future projects will be somewhere under this website. But considering solo indie developer with school in the way is the reality, that takes a hot minute.
Also its probably apparent by the length already this is going to be a beefy article, so strap in, now its time to cover the next subsidiary in the header, A2; RE or Act 2; The Reimagining!
Act 2; The Reimagining
This section covers A2; RE as a whole.
Act 2; The Reimagining as it is currently entitled is a planned Fan Game of Inscryption. It's likely going to be in development for quite a few years, as I don't have a crew fully built out to work on it yet.
But for those curious as to what its going to be, I'll say this.

So A2; RE as we abbreviate it will as you know be a fan game of Inscryption, but not just any fan game. It will be a giant expansion to Inscryption's Act 2, with Replayability built into its core.
The Gameplay cycle will work somewhat as follows:
- Card Battles
- Card Collection
- Lore, Lore, Lore, Lore, Lore, Lore
- Exploration
- Boss Battle
- and so on.
But that's not all, another spoiler just to be safe.

So the main twist in the gameplay loop is as follows:
Every time you beat it, the game resets the next time you launch it, with *CHANGES*.
What kind of changes? Well a new Player Character, and a new Scrybe representing your last Player Character.
The Player Characters are selected at random from a pool of characters.
Each Player Character will have its own ability associated with them. You'll have to wait and see for majority of them.
Now that the twist is out of the way, read or not, let's proceed.
How Large will this game be? Well I'd imagine ~10 hours on the first playthrough at minimum. (If your not speed running, and read most of the dialogue) I will say each Scrybe's region will be way larger than the original game gave them. Think exploring each island at actual human size, without shortcuts.
Each underling of a Scrybe is considered a Mini-Boss, with subordinates and regions under them as well. Meaning its not just the Scrybes land you'll be exploring but the subordinates as well.
There are also planned unlocks to enable fast travel and more, maybe even flight in an area. When I say Fast Travel, I mean more so faster travel rather than instant.
For example unlocking a plane so that you can get to places in Leshy's Land quicker. Why a plane? Well each Scrybe variably has more or less Suboridantes. Leshy got 4; Prospector, Angler, Trapper, and the Aviator. The Trader is their own entity not fused with the Trapper. She'll be around the many sandbars in the game, and sometimes seen traveling alongside the Trapper.
Oh and, if I recall right I planned Magnificus to have 4 as well; Bleene, Orlu, Goranj and Magnus. Each of them with their own subordinates as Mini-Mini-Bosses. I may lean to Magnificus as a Favorite Scrybe.
*DIE OLD DATA, DIE*, there will be no OLD DATA within the game, meaning the Scrybes are not fighting for control of the game. Rather they are existing in a semi-state of peace.
Also, I wouldn't expect the Scrybe's lands to be the only places you can explore within the game, there may be some other areas you can explore as well.
Maybe not a minor detail, but I view it as one. Once you enter a Scrybes land, your locked into it until you complete it. You won't be able to inter-mix decks in each Scrybes region. But outside the region there may be a possibility, e.g. in the Sandbar areas.
Within a Scrybe's land, you are locked to that specific Scrybe's deck of cards, meaning your playing that Scrybe's archetype as they intended you to in the first place.
Anyways' I'll leave you with that for Spoiler Land.
So what do we need in order to push this project out properly?
- Artists
- Musicians
- VA (Thinking of giving all characters voices)
- Card Artists
- Card Designers
- Beta/Alpha Testers
- Backend Engineers (Experienced in C# (For the Modding Pipeline))
- Game Developers (Experienced in Godot C#)
- Likely more to come.
All of the above will be volunteer positions, with pay from game purchases for the Game Dev's, VAs and Engineers. Any Art, or Music will be based on a Commission basis. Meaning payed when we need the artwork/track.
All of the aforementioned positions will be credited in the game, store page, and any associated documentation. Any coders will be mentioned within the code base.
If your wondering why we need all of these roles, feel free to pop open the spoilers if your interested. Also, if you want to know anything else about the game, the community discord is Here.
Stoat Games
This section covers Stoat Games as a whole.
You should already know about the Website but just in case:
Stoat Games is a website by which operates as a documentation hub for subsidiaries or projects in which wish to operate under it and use its services. Well more than just documentation but the point stands. If you want more info on it see: "Implementing The News Feed", the article.
This article aims to tackle the subsidiary Stoat Games. Stoat Games is a group of Game Modders, Card Designers, and Software Developers. (Likely more too). Which specialize in making software for users to play with.
For example the following mods and modpacks belong under our umbrella:
- Inscryption Drafting Mod
- Tribal Pelts
- Texture Replacer
- ANSI Mod
- TS Build
- Too Many Sigils
- Tribal Library
- Max Mod
- Trivia Land
- Minecards - TCG (CF)
- Minecards - TCG (MR)
- Souls of the Damned
- Ghost In The Code Logo Maker
- Lockdown and Focus
- and a ton more, existing and to come.
To be frank Stoat Games as a organization is partially a bundle of my existing projects, which does include this Website. It's not the most complex thing to understand, hence its the shortest section under this article. But if you want any more details, you can find our Community Discord here: Stoat Games Discord.
Conclusion
This section is the outro to this Article, and acts as a rough summary.
In conclusion our initial subsidiaries are Cecil Libraries Organization, A2; RE, and Stoat Games (may be renamed in the future, be on the look out). This article acts as a debrief of what each one of them is, and how you can contribute to them. This article also covers why things have been slow for a hot minute around this website and other organizations associated with it.
